Terms of Service

Effective September 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Everyday Bills, Inc. ("Everyday Bills," "we" or "us"). They explain how our service works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. Please read them carefully, especially the section on disputes and arbitration.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Everyday Bills, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Rewards Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Who can use the service

To use Everyday Bills, you must be at least 18 years old, live in the United States, have a valid Social Security number, and pay bills from a US bank account that's in your name. You can have one account. We may ask you to verify your identity at any time, and we may decline to open an account if we can't verify it.

3. Your account

Keep your account information accurate and up to date, including your contact details, bank account and bill details. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity in your account. Turn on two-step verification for extra protection, and tell us right away at support@everydaybills.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Plans, pricing and billing

Everyday Bills offers two paid plans:

  • Essentials: $9.99 a month or $99.00 a year, for up to 3 bills.
  • Unlimited: $19.99 a month or $199.00 a year, for as many bills as you like.

Your membership renews automatically each month or year, depending on the billing period you choose, and we charge your linked bank account on your renewal date until you cancel. If you switch from Essentials to Unlimited, the change takes effect right away and we charge the prorated difference for the rest of your billing period. If you switch from Unlimited to Essentials, the change takes effect on your next renewal date, and you'll need 3 or fewer bills. Each bill payment has a fee: $0.25 when paid from your bank account, or 2.9% of the payment amount when paid by credit card. We show the fee and the total before you confirm each payment, and autopay uses the method you chose for that bill.

We may change our prices. If we do, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

5. Money-back guarantee

If you're not happy with Everyday Bills, you can request a full refund of your membership charges within 30 days of first joining. Request it from your Profile or by contacting support. When we issue the refund, your membership ends, we stop paying your bills, and points earned during your membership are removed. Bill payments already sent to your billers aren't affected. The guarantee applies once per person.

6. Failed membership payments

If a membership charge doesn't go through, we'll let you know and may try the charge again. You have 7 days to retry the payment or update your bank account. During that time we'll keep paying your scheduled bills. After 7 days, we'll pause bill payments until your membership is paid. Your bills, history and points stay in your account.

7. Bill payment services

Everyday Bills is a technology company, not a bank. Payments are processed by our licensed payment partner. When you schedule a payment, you instruct us and our partner to withdraw the amount from your bank account and send it to the biller you choose, either electronically or by mailed check.

We withdraw funds up to 4 business days before the due date you set. Electronic payments usually arrive in 1–3 business days, and mailed checks usually arrive in 5–7 business days. You're responsible for making sure your biller details, account numbers and amounts are correct, and for scheduling payments early enough to arrive on time. If a payment is late because of our error, contact us and we'll work with you and your biller to make it right.

We may refuse, delay or limit a payment if we believe it's unauthorized, violates these terms or the law, or puts you or us at risk. Individual payments are limited to $25,000.

8. Payment authorization

By scheduling a payment, including through autopay, you authorize Everyday Bills and our payment partner to electronically debit your linked bank account for that payment, and for your membership fee on each renewal date. Each debit happens up to 4 business days before the bill's due date, for the amount shown when you schedule or confirm the payment. You can cancel a scheduled payment until the business day before it's withdrawn. This authorization stays in effect until you remove your bank account or close your account, and you must give us enough notice to act on it.

9. Paying by credit card

You can pay most bills with a credit card in your name. Card payments carry a 2.9% fee, which we show before you pay and which isn't refunded if you cancel a payment after it's charged, unless the charge was our error. Debit and prepaid cards can't be used for card payments; use your bank account instead. Credit card bills and loan payments can't be paid by credit card. By paying with a card, you authorize us and our card processor to charge it for the bill amount plus the fee. Card numbers are handled by our card processor; we keep only the card type and last 4 digits.

10. Late fee guarantee

If a payment you scheduled at least 4 business days before its due date is delivered after the due date because of Everyday Bills or our partners, we'll refund the late fee your biller charged, up to $50.00 per payment, when you request it within 60 days with the bill showing the fee. It doesn't cover returned payments, wrong account details you entered, or checks your biller received on time but posted late.

11. Expedited payments

For electronic payments you can choose Expedited delivery for $4.99, which sends the payment the next business day. The fee is shown before you confirm and doesn't earn points.

12. Splitting bills

You can split a bill with other people. Each person authorizes their own share from their own account. If you turn on "cover missing shares", you authorize us to withdraw any unpaid share from your account so the biller is paid on time; collecting it from the other person is up to you.

13. Rent reporting

Unlimited members may choose to have rent paid through Everyday Bills reported to credit bureaus through our rent reporting partner. Reporting starts after your lease is verified and you accept the credit reporting disclosure. When you turn on rent reporting, Everyday Bills and our rent reporting partner report the rent you pay through Everyday Bills to Experian, Equifax, TransUnion each month. On-time payments can help build your credit history. If a rent payment is 30 or more days late, it may be reported as late, which can lower your credit score. Months you don't pay through Everyday Bills aren't reported. You can stop at any time; months already reported stay on your credit file as allowed by law. Reporting doesn't guarantee any change to your credit score. You can dispute any reported month in the app; we'll investigate and respond within 30 days. We report accurately what happened; we can't remove accurate information.

14. Sponsored memberships

If an employer, property manager, financial institution or other organization covers your membership, it pays your membership fee while you're eligible. The organization sees only that you've enrolled and totals across its program, never your bills, payment amounts, bank details or points. If you stop being eligible, your sponsored membership ends at the end of that month and you can continue on a personal plan. Organizations may fund bonus points through campaigns, which follow our Rewards Terms.

15. Returned and failed payments

If your bank returns a withdrawal, for example because of insufficient funds, we won't send the payment to your biller. We'll notify you so you can retry, and no points are earned for that payment. If your bank returns a withdrawal after we've already paid your biller, you agree to repay us that amount, and we may debit your bank account for it. Repeated returns may lead us to limit or close your account.

16. Errors and unauthorized payments

If you think a payment is wrong or wasn't authorized, tell us as soon as possible through Report a problem on the payment's receipt or at support@everydaybills.com. Include your name, the confirmation number, the amount and why you think it's wrong. We'll investigate and tell you what we find, usually within 10 business days. You may have additional rights under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and other applicable law, and nothing in these terms limits those rights.

17. Rewards program

Points and rewards are governed by our Rewards Terms, which are part of this agreement. Points have no cash value except as described there.

18. Partner offers

We may show you offers from partners, such as insurers or phone and internet providers. These are marked as sponsored. If you choose an offer, you'll deal directly with the partner under its own terms, and we may earn a fee. We're not responsible for partner products or services. We only share your information with a partner after you choose to continue to its site.

19. Things you agree not to do

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything illegal, fraudulent or deceptive
  • Pay yourself, move money in circles, or make payments mainly to earn points
  • Use someone else's identity, bank account or payment details
  • Interfere with the service, access it with bots or scripts, or try to get around security or limits
  • Copy, reverse engineer or resell any part of the service

20. Communications and electronic records

You agree that we can give you notices, statements, receipts and disclosures electronically, by email or in the app, as described in the electronic records consent you accepted at sign-up. If you turn on text messages, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

21. Canceling, suspension and termination

You can cancel your membership anytime from your Profile. When you cancel, autopay stops, we stop paying your bills, and you have 90 days to cash out your points. Charges already made aren't refunded except under the money-back guarantee.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we suspect fraud or misuse, if required by law or our payment partner, or if we stop offering the service. When possible, we'll tell you in advance and give you a chance to cash out your points, unless the closure is because of fraud or misuse.

22. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Everyday Bills running smoothly, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises beyond those stated in these terms, including that the service will always be available or error-free, or that any partner offer will save you money.

23. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Everyday Bills isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the membership fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

24. Disputes and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights. If you have a problem, contact us first at support@everydaybills.com. We'll try to resolve it informally within 60 days.

If we can't, you and Everyday Bills agree to resolve any dispute through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and Everyday Bills each waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action or class arbitration.

You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@everydaybills.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms, with your name, account email and a statement that you're opting out.

25. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict of law rules.

26. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Everyday Bills after the change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
